Good Morning California!!!!!!!
Morning Kirsten and Cali gang!
Sitting in my office, doing a little bit of work between bouts of trying to catch up here for the last 3 days I missed, and just feeling so darn good! Sue Lassiter visted our Monday nite support group..what an amazing woman! If you ever get a chance to hear her speak.. GOOOOO! She is 6 years out and co-founded the Bariatric University in San Jose where they teach life skills of living with WLS and being a Success! I loved her explanation of a Life Coach: a Life Coach takes you from where you are to where you wanna be and asks questions like how? when? Where? vs Therapy which takes you back to where you started and asks the question Why? Sue has an infectious personality...we all left the meeting feeling uplifted and rejuvenated and Motivated to continue to Succceed!
Only 3 1/2 days left to work and then I am off to Washington. Sooo need to get away ^_^ Talked to my son last nite; Brianna is still in the hospital but off all feeding and air tubes (Thank God!). She had a bout of high BP Saturday so the Doc decided to keep her at least another week but the good news is she continues to gain weight and is drinking entirely from the bottle. The kids are feeling alot more comfortable about taking her home now that they don't have to face the feeding tube. And of course, they will still have a daily nurse dropping by to check that all is well.
Carving Christmas snowflake ornaments in my 'spare' time; we have a Christmas dinner for the carving club Dec 8th and the ornaments will be part of the raffle prizes...4 table Christmas trees with carved ornaments done by members of the club. And somehow in my 'spare' time, I'm suppose to carve an exchange Christmas gift for the dinner also...geeessss, WORK sure does get in the way of LIVING! LOL
Well, better get back to earning that paycheck...unless there is a Bill Gates out there wanting to adopt me?? LOL Have a wonderful Tuesday Cali!Nancy aka sunray

(((((Kirsten))))) Thanx so much for starting the morning post. Nothing much on tap for me today. Just continuing to look for a job. I did get my results back from my test with San Bernardino County and I tested in the 80-84% range. I spoke with a friend that works for the welfare office in Ontario and she said that is a really good score, so now I am just waiting to get an interview date and see if I get to start the training class in January. I hope everyone has a great day. Be good to yourself, and each other.
